This winding journey ascending into the Blue Ridge Parkway was enough to fill my heart with marvel and awe. The landscape was like nothing I had ever seen before. It stunned the Floridian flatlands right out of me and I suddenly felt home.
Traveling upward there are many outlook points that overlook the rolling ridge. This makes for the BEST day for the lazy hiker. These views were found on the side of the parkway.
The parkway will take you to Craggy Gardens which is a small summit hike to a beautiful clearing. You can see for miles from the top.
